“Ethics concerns not only questions of life and death but how one ought to live with and interact with others on a daily basis. The ethics of the ordinary is just as much part of health care ethics as the ethics of the extraordinary.” – Arthur Caplan, PhD
Who we are
We are an interdisciplinary healthcare ethics research group who seeks to better understand how people live out the moral dimensions of their lives. We apply a range of conceptual and empirical research methods to explore everything that really matters for people about mental health, substance use, and chronic pain.
