WHEN: September 25, 2025, 2:00-3:30 PM
WHERE: Online/Webex
This event is intended for service users/patients and peer workers.
Palliative psychiatry is an emerging way of offering support to people who have been using mental health services for a long time and current treatments haven’t worked well.
- It is not about giving up or about dying
- It is about having more comfort, and living life in a way that feels right for you
This is an introductory-level session where we’ll talk about what palliative psychiatry is, what it isn’t, and why people who have lived experience with mental health challenges might want to help shape how it’s talked about and written about in the future.
This is an online event. If you are interested in watching the session in person at CAMH, please email lucy.costa@camh.ca
